Ashawnti is one of our brand-new additions this year! We very much look forward to the American with the beautiful name – this is the first time we get to welcome improv players from the US twin cities Minneapolis-St. Pauls in Berlin. Ashawnti studied acting and theatre and co-founded the ensembles of „The Black Ensemble Players“ and „Theatre 45°“ in Minneapolis. In her artistic work as well as with her improv group „Blackout Improv“, she focuses on the issues of social justice, fostering community and empowering youth.
