When our dear friend Lee met John in spring of 2019 in Amsterdam, he warmly recommended him for the next IMPRO in Berlin. He is coming with his fellow player Ashawnti, and we very much look forward to meeting them in person. He is not only the committed director of diversity of the HUGE Theater in Minneapolis, he is also a co-founder of Blackout Improv, combining comedy, social justice and art in their shows. Moreover, he’s been doing stand-up comedy in Minneapolis for more than nine years.
