Improvisation has been a large part of my life for several decades now: with the Gorillas, in my writing, directing/producing and teaching. I improvise when I cook, when I renovate, and so on and so forth. If an improvised project seems unimprovised, exactly intended, written or thought out like it is – I smile to myself and my little ego pats me on the shoulder approvingly.
